1. What is the process flow for coconut oil production
| (1) Coconut picking and processing | The production of coconut oil requires first selecting high-quality coconuts and picking them. After coconut harvesting, it is necessary to remove the stalks, break the shells, and separate the flesh and juice. Coconut meat needs to be cleaned and ground into small pieces for later use. |
| (2) Squeezing oil | Coconut meat will be sent to a coconut oil press to extract coconut oil. The oil press separates the water and oil from the coconut meat, and the oil is collected in a container. The freshly squeezed coconut oil has a coarse texture, unpleasant odor and impurities, as well as a small amount of water and protein. The first squeezed coconut oil is crude coconut oil that has not been refined. |
| (3) Decolorization refining | Coarse coconut oil needs to be decolorized and refined to remove odors, impurities, and moisture. Usually, the decolorization and refining processes are carried out simultaneously. Pour the freshly squeezed coconut oil into a decolorizer and heat it to a certain temperature. Under the action of temperature and chemical agents, the pigments, impurities, and odors in coconut oil are separated and adsorbed onto the decolorizing agent. The coconut oil obtained after refining and decolorization is transparent, with few impurities and no odor. |
| (4) Packaging and storage | The refined coconut oil can be filled, packaged, and stored at room temperature. At this time, coconut oil is not prone to spoilage and can be stored for several months at room temperature. If stored at low temperatures, it can better preserve its quality and taste. Coconut oil powder, vegetable fatty acids, personal care products and other user-friendly products can also be produced in production. It can meet people's different needs. |
